I am restoring a Lacrosse and re-wiring and want to run the new wires into the female side of the molex plug instead of butt splicing.

I am not very familiar with the Lacrosse wiring or the Molex connectors your referring to but I would think you should be able to replace any of the the wiring and the connectors as long as the replacement parts are rated for the job and are the proper gauge. Probably get all the parts you need at Radio Shack.

I think you can just buy a new connector from Mouser.com

Ok that is a Jones Socket, if you want to replace it I would go to the (Mouser.com) link that Collecture posted earlier and type in Jones Socket.
