Title: How to not sell items at a swap meet.
Post by: Creighton on July 09, 2017, 05:36:19 pm
Stopped by the "Early Ford Swap Meet" today at noon. Show was to close at 4 pm. Half the vendors packing up too busy with that to bother with someone looking at items in the booth. Next up was vendors too busy with their phones.

The winner was a booth with a clean original paint Vendo 39. He was busy talking the guy running the next booth ear off. Unlocked so twisted the handle opened both doors missing most of the insides. The guy at the next booth watched me and pointed a couple of times but the owner never shut up. Closed it back up and he only turned around when heard the vend handle ratchet back.

Hope it doesn't get damaged going back on the trailer.

Did meet some good local sources for bits need for the T-Birds. Entrance fee was just donation to the food bank so all good.

It makes you wonder why people pay to set up. Maybe he already made his $million at the show and didn't want to sell anything else.  That's how I get whenever I make some good sales, just stop selling.......NOT, LOL

Probably didn't want to sell.. but his better half was making him.. so he sets up, ignores buyers then goes home and says no one was interested... smooth 8)
