Can anyone tell me what kind of tool I need for this type of screw? My machine is full of them, and I haven's seen these before! Thank you

Clutch head screw - available at Ace (as a screw bit).
You can get one out with a small slotted screwdriver and match it up at the store

ACE here in Missouri also carries these as a regular handled driver... though I wish they
came with a built in homing device... as I've bought 2 and have lost both!..   darn

One of the only other places I have seen these type screws used is in a Holley carb.  I thnk even the new ones you buy today have them.  I have gotten them from my Snap on man.

I think someone on here said that old Corvettes used them also.

I bought one that is a handle one  from my local True Value hardware
it was worth the $8.00 for the darn thing ( I hate those tork head's)
and I have 4 more LaCrosse's to break down down.

You used a tork to get them off is that what you mean? I found bits that will go in my drill or my ratcheting handle screwdriver. I will also look for the handle one though. Too much power and I will wear out the hole. I want to replace them with regular screws when it oes back together though. I am taking out the liner and bottle rack tomorrow. Then I have lots of body work to do. I will post pics of the carnage when the insulation is out.
