One of my favorite machines!  A friend of mine has a RC 35 embossed, I need to pony up the money for it!

35's are nice. They don't take up much floor space.  I just bought 6 of them, and they are easy to store and move.

Congrats.

I went to look at it, it's missing the cap catcher and needed top door hinges, he said it cools althought the cord was frayed to the point it needs repacing. Rack and everything was present. He said he had the key to the door. I couldn't get to the back of it to check for rust.
I just couldn't get past the $800. Price tag!

The sign is worth $200 alone. The right size for a VMC 81. mech is worth $200-250 as with the rack. The owner knows what he has. Nice looking machine.

Great machines!  I have that same one with the next size up porcelain sign on the front.  Mine is working but was missing the coin mech cover and cap catcher.  I paid $150 for it which was very fair.  I would have to think hard for $800.

Cap catchers go for $100+ on the 35's, and should include the backing piece (2 pieces total).

I've sold camel hump mechs for $300 and racks for $200.
So $600 for those 3 parts is the going rate.  Plus the cooler value itself (more $).

$800 bucks for that machine in as is condition is reasonable, especially with the DP sign, although 35 lid hinges will be tough to find.
