Will this fan motor work on my Ideal 55 Pepsi slider machine?

http://www.sodajerkworks.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=140&cat=9&page=1

The one at Sodasprings.com (that says it's for an Ideal 55) is apparently out of stock.

Wish I knew how to post pics on this site as I have my fan out of the machine with good pics taken of the back of it.

The other question I have is "This is a compressor fan that I want correct?"  Not an evaporator fan.  Only one fan on this slider as the cooling lines are all insulated around the outside of the chest.

Anyone have recommendations for a newbie? I need a new motor and a fan blade.

Thanks!

It's just a common compressor motor. We have them on our site. www.fun-tronicsllc.com it is part #11A. I have restored countless Ideal 55's and this is the motor I use. Hope this helps.

WOO HOO!!!! here's another...for giggles and grins!

See the double dot embossing?

What happened to the red paint?  Doesn't look like there was ever any red lettering on this machine!

I bet the red paint faded. I have a newer machine and the pepsi logo on the plastic sign had no red on it but the blue was as bright as it was when it was new. I really do like your machine. That pepsi logo looks awesome!

Certain Red paints will fade completely away.. don't know the reasons why, but I've seen it before where the red just goes away on signs and coolers... must have been paint that was not UV resistant...

It was silk screened on, red has a very low pigment like yellow's do. In other words it will fade out alot faster.
