Okay maybe I am obsessed here, but I cant wait till I get my vendo 81!!!  tounge I just tracked it, and it is almost in Nashville scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I will post pics when it is here. Most of you big time collectors and restorers are probably sitting on 20 of these, but I am sure you understand my excitement!! This is the machine I have always wanted since getting into the hobby. It will be second to my favorite (cs-96 my first machine), but definitely treasured. I have parts already on the way for it being delivered on thursday! I thank John for the great deal. I also thank all of you in advance for all of my questions!!! Ill post pics tomorrow!

I understand your excitement completely!  I had an 81D long ago that I foolishly sold to a collector in Fayetteville, NC.  Someday I really want to get an 81A (I love the all red machines, like my early 39).  I've also been watching for a good deal on a red 80.  I keep finding R/W 80s with the stainless panels...there's one of those near here for $500.  Keep us posted!!

You are fine. Soda machine addiction is normal. Nothing beats the excitement of a new machine. Well a couple of things but this is a G rated board. Looking forward to the pics!!
