Title: Fluted 7oz coke bottle
Post by: steven c on January 25, 2015, 06:14:42 pm
Cleaning out the garage and found a box my mom found in a older house in Colorado, most of it was new type beer bottles in newspaper and a few old ones that I'll check out after a good clean up. I never went through it till today and found this one.

I know it probably isn't worth much, but I'm curious as to about how old it may be.
It says property of coca-cola. The bottom says Pueblo  Colorado Springs  with a , W

Thanks
Steve,

Thanks Kilroy,
I had no idea of its age. It's not my area of collecting.

Bottle is a lot older than 1970s, that bottle is 1910s-1920s it's a soda water bottle. Coca Cola is written in block letters meaning it never contained Coca Cola. It contained soda water meaning grape, strawberry, etc. All bottles with Coca Cola in script contained Coca Cola in them.

Soda Water bottles don't demand the higher price as the early Cokes do $25-30 bottle
