Weather is nice today so I decided do a little junk'in after going to the barber.  Found this closed down gas station in Richmond (most violent city in California - Yee ha!) and they had a square top Vendo 56 (I think).  It looks like it could clean up...has the little box to put the can in and puncture it to drink..also has a faded diamond can decal.  Any idea what this is worth?  Can the metal sign be swapped out and be configured for a light-up one?  Thanks.

I think the sign should be an easy swap - you should just need to add some AC.
Now the question I have is what are you doing looking around an old gas station is a bad town? '<img'>
And did you get inside the building, or is the pic through a window? '<img'>

Except for paint looks to be the same as the striped 56-B I just picked up. Light up sign is easy, bet it already has a door light. Don't think I've seen any go higher than $400 on eBay. They don't show up much. I like them.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks!

I have the same exact machine but in a Pepsi version.  I think Brian also has this machine.  The sign is an easy swap and the plug for the light is already there.  If you can't find a sign someone here once suggested going to a craft store like Michael's and having a frame made and the using frosted and clear plexi with a decal to make your own sign.  Still working on mine, maybe someday it will be done?
