Congrats on getting it back!!  AND DONE to boot!

Machine looks nicely done.  Just an observation though with the ID tag placement;  On the 110's are the tags not originally placed on the other side of the machine, opposite to where the 81's are? (So when facing the machine, a 110 tag would be on the right side).
Again, just an observation and me being anal about things lol.....

It is on my two 110's and on my 6CV, but 99.9% of the public wouldn't know or care. Ed, I am anal like you and it would drive me nuts every time I looked at it. In this case, I could overlook it and just be happy I got my machine back!

Case in point: The restorer (who shall go nameless) that restored my Vendo Junior many years ago put the tub in backwards and the drain plug is over the compressor assembly. I have to unscrew the line cover, unscrew the grill and cover the electrical up when I go to drain it. I should only have to pull the right side grill open (no screws involved) and drain it on the ground! One of these days, I need to break it down and fix it because it bugs me so much!

lol... that's like me... I bought a restored Vendo 80 at a price and workmanship that I could not pass, and the lettering is done with the vinyl decal rather than hand painted, and it gives me nightmares some nights lol.
It looks great, and Im not putting that type of restoration down,..... but I don't like it.

If it was an 81, then it would be correct! lol

I have another restored flaw that bugs me, but to fix it would cost too much - so I deal with it.
On my DP WB-60, the painters didn't allow for door sag. They taped off the area to be painted white at the top of the machine, but the door was sagging 1/8". It looked straight to paint, but when the machine got assembled....there is a 1/8" variance in the white where it meets on the side opposite the hinge.
It is not that noticeable, BUT I know it is there and it bugs me.

Tom, can you use some white pinstripe tape to compromise where the 2 colors meet?
