Well I think I have it figured out. Bubba is trading me his origional metal non change giving coin mech for a coinco 9800B. His coin mech is really simple and is all metal. kate is going to try and cut about an inch out of the coin mech and weld it back together. We will see if it works. I hope it does. This might get rather interesting.

I will show you all what I have in mind once it gets here. If it doesn't work or if it looks bad I am just going to do the free vend idea.  The non change giving coin mechs had nothing in them really. They are really simple. They just use the same housing as change giving coin mechs. Actually we only need to take a 1/2 inch out since we added 1/2 inch by moving the hinge. I am sure it will work. And like I said if it doesn't or if it doesn't look origional at all I am going to scrap the idea.

Here is what it looks like. Bubba I hope you don't mind me borrowing your pic. I think I can take a half inch from this.

Ill show you when it gets here. It might not work but I think it should. Everything will stay where it is. It is hard to explain.

That is what I was thinking Terry. What about the coin box and bracket, cap catcher? All of those going to fit with the short door?
