Title: V-39 info
Post by: on October 01, 2002, 08:58:30 pm
I have a very nice white top V-39 that is all original.  I've  seen reference to a V-39 "Master"'. Can anyone describe the difference between a V-39 and a V-39 Master?  Will the model and serial numbers from my machines data plate tell me anything?  Thanks

Steve,

If you check in the Soda Machines Section under the Vendo Manufacturer, look for the model 39 Standard. This is similar to the 39 Master; the only difference between the Standard and the Master is the cooler utilized for the coin operated top.

Once you see this machine, you'll see there's a significant difference between a V-39 and a V-39 Standard or V-39 Master. And yes, they do both vend 39 bottles, but that's the only similarity.

Pat/Jim,  Thanks so much for the info.  It shows how much knowledge I lack on the soda machine subject.  I have a V-39 upright and I didn't realize that there was a 39-Standard and 39-Master chest cooler!  Steve:D
