Bob,

I am starting to sound like a broken record - Thanks again.

I am not sure how to attach a picture.  I will try.  If not successful maybe someone call tell me how.

NICE MACHINE, Sparky!!

That's the first 7 cent sticker I've seen on a Multi-Drink.  Very cool.

What am I seeing between the bottle opener and the coin release plunger?

I've got good color copies of original flavor strips for these if you are interested.

Sparky - you had emailed me about the length of the selection rod.  It takes a 90 degree turn at the point where it attaches to the vend mech:

Hope this helps:

Bob,

The coin changer is missing, but yea I thought the 7cent decal was cool.  What is left of the wiring diagram on the door also references a 7 cent coin changer.  I don't ever remember seeing a machine take 7 cents even when I was a kid.  Someone has added a key switch and a pushbutton switch that they were using for "free" vend.  I am not sure what I will do with them.  I would like to get a coin changer and thought it would be real cool to get a 7 cent one.

Let me know what you want for the selection decals because I do need some and would be interested in what you have.

I sent you an email with my email address before I saw the picture here.  I believe the picture you posted was from the "L" bracket on the door down to the linkage on the "carriage".  That rod is intact on my machine - the one I need the dimension on is from the selector knob to the "L" bracket on the door.  Sorry for the confusion  '<img'> .  I would appreciate it if you could shoot another picture with the tape measure by it.

Thanks for all your patience and help.

Bob,

Thanks again.  I am going to get some rod and make a new linkage now that I know the proper length.

I ordered a manual and parts catalog so that should help with a lot of questions.

Now I just need the time to tear into the machine and really start working on it.

Is it possible to get me a set?  I can get them scanned and posted for the others.  I hope to get my Westinghouse restored some day, and the strips will come in handy!

Scanning them is a great idea, Dr G.  I'll get them scanned and make them available.

It would be best to scan/recreate them as vector art in case they need to be resized for various button sizes...

Which brings me to the repair certification Glen sent me... I'll be getting back on this project as I have just returned from a short seven day vacation...

My six cents,
