I just got this machine home. It is a Vendorlator 81 that is complete and works. My question is do many of the parts on this machine fit on the round top 81? I can't decide if I want to part it out or restore it. Anyone have any info?

The only thing that comes to mind Josh is maybe the bottle-rack, I've got the smaller version, a VF56, same cabinet/layout

I see your working on an old Ammonia "monitor" top 'fridge (G.E.?) in the back ground, don't break a line, or you'll have to run for cover!  ':O' , nasty stuff!

Thanks John,
I think I am either going to sell it as is or paint it. It is a really straight machine. Almost no rust at all on the machine. It would make a nice Mountain Dew machine wouldn't it. Oh yeah it has the same trim on it as my 7up machine further proving that the SV was made by vendorlator. Yes the monitor top fridge was part of the deal on this one. it works but the cabnet is rusty. You said that it is ammonia that cools the machine. WOW I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up. Do you know if they are worth anything? The rust is fixable but I don't know if I want to deal with it.

Josh if you decide not to do anything with the GE fridge I would be interested in it, I was just thinking about those last week. Adam

Yeah... I'd check to see if the shelves and bottles stack interchange.....
If so the stack is about $500. itself! And maybe even the bottle door.
Nice machine though.....

Adam the fridge is for sale. I really didn't want it but it was a package deal for the VF81. Email me at jdloman2000@yahoo.com.

Well I found out that the shelves are the same as the round corner 81 and the Vendo 63, 90 and 126. I also found out that the rack is the same and the bottle door is the same. SO I will be parting this machine out.

you'll see this "Keg-'erator"   '<img'>

one.
Thanks...

Eric they are the shelves that do not have the bottle slide. They work just fine, but they are like the repop ones from funtronics.

No problem. I've never owned one, but always thought it would be cool. Plus your vintage fridge would turn out really neat.

I built one out of a cornelius compact 50 once and it was really fun. They are actually really easy to make.

I just sold the shelves and the bottle mech and bottle door are on ebay. I am going to list the cooling system next. It is the same as both model 56's so I think it will do well. I started striping the fridge today and it isn't half as bad as it looked. I should have it and the 7up machine in for paint by the first of next week.

Thanks. As a future Air Traffic controller and a Commercial Pilot I have had to learn to multitask. The reason for the large number of machines at one time is I would like to take at least three to the painters at a time. So I will start tearing the Cavalier 55 down in a day or two.

It is tucked away in the corner with a sheet over it. I even gave it a quick bath. It will be just fine. When are you going to have it picked up. No hurry but our house is going up for sale this weekend so I don't know how long we are going to be here. I'm sure it will be a while.

I'm guessing sometime in March since he estimated 4 weeks when I made the arrangements, which was the middle of February.

Let me know if you foresee a problem.

loman4ec,
Here is a Coke machine that combines your two loves: vintage Coke machines and a kegerator!

Too bad they chose such an ugly tap. Also, a bit sad to see a beautiful old machine labotomized.

Oh my. That is a shame. Butchering a Cornelius chest or an old refrigerator is one thing but that is murder. I just hope it was already missing the drum to begin with. What a shame.
