This is my dads old cooler that I have passed by in the barn for 30 years, thinking it was too far gone. As I am older and more sentimental (or bored), I thought I would attempt to restore. I feel there is nothing to be lost.

Is there any place to get parts for these? it is missing the seal, hinges and one handle. I think I would have to use rivets completely through the lid to attach the liner. Any advice on how to go about it is appreciated.

Hinges and handle will have to come from another similar Cronstroms, so you might as well find another parts cooler before you start.

While you're waiting........................ that RC cooler behind it seems to be screaming for some attention.  drinking

Ok thanks.

The RC was in dad's barn also. Even though it is banged up, it is all there.  It will need a tub replacement.

And it is the next project.
