Ok, here's one for you. Anyone seen a cooling stoner before? Know anything about it?

WOW!!

Tim

I really drop the ball on this one . I have never seen anything like that . I'm thinking if it's a cooling system of some kind maybe it was in a Steel mill or a Plant that had high heat Huh?

That's pretty cool, no pun intended, machine Tim!
Do you know if it still cools properly and is complete?
How about an interior photo...
Did you buy it?
What about the soda machine, possibly an 81, in the background...?

My six cents,

Jim

Are you sure it's refrigerated?  There's no insulation in a stoner, could get messy.

That's exactly why I want to see the interior! Look for some sort of breaker strip...
I did see a machine that had been retro-fitted with a refrigeration system, but definitely not factory!
At least this model looks like a factory installation...

I had one but did away with the heating unit. They converted a few and it's a wonder it didn't burn buildings down. I welded in panels and could never tell.

This is the same machine finished about 5 or 6 years ago. This machine sold in Feb. 2013 at an auction in GA. for around $10,500.00 + Fees

Sorry guys these were fitted with a heating unit and by the looks of how they did it, it must have been a third grader. Don't go overboard on price, lots of metal work to fix. These were a mess and by no means up to code. Had to be a private vendor that did the conversion.

As usual, Curtis has the right answer.  The Moon Pie machine was one of my all time favorites.  The Pastry vendor is still on my list.

I'm interested in the Pepsi 81 sitting next to the stoner. Call me if the guy wants to sell it, you know I'm a buyer.

A Pepsi 81 would have a split  in the grills.

That's not 100% correct, some of the Pepsi 81's did and some did not. Here is one I done and it was in original condition upon buying it. If you look, you will find many of them both ways.

Sorry to disappoint you all. It is a coke 81B that was painted blue. Its just a stripped down shell that needs everything. I'm not even looking at that, I don't need one that stripped down.

Curtis,
Thanks for the info on the stoner!

You may want to look a little closer at that shell.  After all...it's an 81 not a 39.

Looks Great!
