Title: Cavalier cs-124

Anyone know what a Cavalier CS-124 in good condition would be worth?  This is a pretty big machine.  The machine cools, but the coin mechanism is not working.  The machine has been repainted with what looks to be a decebt paint job, although the entire thing was painted red (my understanding is that these were originally white on top and red the rest of the body).  This is a 3 selection machine, as opposed to the 1 seleections machines.

Make them an offer of $300. I think it is worth that, or more. It will hold 12 oz bottles, so it could be your beer machine. Go ahead step into the world of round tops, you will be hooked!

The book says $275 for an average machine.

Halehouse, Yeah, it was that one, but I couldn't pull the trigger.  I don't have the space for it, but was trying to convince a friend.  Looks like it is gone now but as of about 2 PM yesterday the owner said it was still available.

It had been listed for awhile and the price kept dropping.

I guess the problem is that it is "too big".  I'm not sure why this makes it so undesirbale as a collectible though.  People collect large automobiles and most people are sticking these in basements or game rooms anyway (rooms that are usually large to begin with).  I really wish i had the space, but until I move out of the DC metro area it ain't gonna happen.  I'm not paying $1 million for a house within spitting distance of my neighbor on .18 acres.

Halehouse,
The price didn't "keep dropping", I lowered it one time. It is in,in my opinion, better than "average condition". I will let it go for $350.00, bottom dollar, if anybody's interested, or use it as an anchor for my boat.

Hey Tom, welcome. My bad. Just thought I had seen the price drop a couple of times. Nice anchor!   :;):
