Wow, '<img'> that dispenser looks complicated inside! Is the owner a collector?

No,he owned the movie theater that it was in and has been in his house for several years. The refrigeration in it looks to be in good shape, comparable to any other upright. The only thng I could not figure out is the canister with the top bolted on with the high pressure lines,is this where the co2 goes? I know the silver canister is for the syrup,it has a tube with fine screen on the end of it.What would the fitting on the back be for, adding the co2? Machine is not rusted very bad at all,100% surface, area where compressor ,condenser, etc; goes is in very good shape, pretty clean I thought.Hopefully someone will know the ins and outs of this machine. Thanks!

That line on the back might be for water hookup.

I would be interested in the machine if you know what you would like to get for it.  I have over 400 machines in my collection and am in the process of moving to a new 6000 sq ft facility, would love to add it to the museum.

From the looks of it the silver canister with the high pressure lines is the carbonater, that is where the water and co2 would be mixed under high pressure. The fitting on the back is for the water hookup this fitting should have a water line going into the machine to a "procon" pump (high pressure water pump) I did not see this in the picture nor did I see the gauges for a co2 tank.

When I saw the photo of the top plastic top piece removed, I couldn't stop laughing...it was like taking the helmet off of Darth Vader...you didn't know what you were going to find...this Lyon machine is definitely more machine than human...great find...I have a Grapette Vendo 63 machine if anyone if a diehard Grapette fan...would go well with that sign.
