Would this machine be worth my time and effort to restore?

Can I get the sign from Steve? What about compressor Ive never dealt with one like that. More than likely I'll be out bid, but hey It's not far from my aunt.

a CS-96e is in storage, and will be my next project, so maybe I am a little biased, but I say go for it.

I was thinking about talking to the owner to see if he/she would part it out and send what I needed if I won.  If you are biding on it then I won’t worry about it.    I am in no hurry on getting the parts I need.  Spider might still have a sign that will fit it.

Jasmine,

I just did a smaller version of that machine--64 and I thought it was pretty easy, especially since it was my first machine.  With the sign missing, you could make it any brand you want.
Go for it!!

I may bid, depends on what the orthodontist says this afternoon about my
daughters permanent retainer.
She broke it last night may end up using my machine money
for a replacement retainer.

If that sign is 14 1/2" X 14"...........I have a nice plexiglass Stylestar to fit it.
No Jas....you don't restore it. You buy it, clean it up and sell it like Josh does. '<img'>
Lulu's 64 is small and cute and worth restoring. The 96 is a little large and dominates many rooms

KreKol Go ahead and bid so you can get your parts.

I have an orthodontic bill to pay, so my machine funds just took a big hit to replace a retainer..

I will have to pass up on it this time.  I ended up getting some other needed parts.

I wish it was a little closer or I would get it. Jasmine if you can scrape up the money you should think of it as paying for the retainer. Parts alone should make good $$$
