Post by: HowDueYouDue on March 09, 2013, 10:51:27 am
Apparently all get cold, have mechs, vend, and keys except the sanded one.

Are you try to sell them ?

The vendo v83 in the middle seems to be converted to multivend

Not trying to sell. Guy near where I live is selling each of them from $100-$200 a piece

Yep it will vend anything you want, just open the door... :tounge:

Honestly though, $100 a piece?  No, No and No. (just me personally).  Although the first picture of the Westinghouse multi-crank does look really clean & it is a lightup, looks like an orphanage on the Island for misfit machines (toys)

Per the seller the first one is fully restored. Wants $150 for that one

Personally, I'd go $150 on that Westy multi-crank.  I like it - I don't think you see a lot of them around.

Yes you can use it as an bottle cooler

But i think the bottle door seems to be made of plexi and there is an handle to rotate the drum (conversion kit) I'm not sure if it plexiglas  :Oo:
Where are they located?

I'd give a 100 for all 3 , but not each.

I think the 83 is worth at least $100.   I know it isnt super collectible but at least it is from the correct era.  Given a decent restoration it would be a nice decoration.  Hell, look at what the over restored one from ebay earlier this week sold for

The westy was what caught my eye and coin after that one. Other than it gets cold, has the coin mech, vends, and lights up, is there anything else I should look for when I look it over? Thank you

Open the door and look at the inside panels. I  nice paint  job doesn't mean proper body work was done.

Sorry to say the seller stopped returning my calls so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he sold them. Thanks for all of the advice on these machines

Not to worry, they turn up every once in awhile. Not anything special.
The crank handles don't match the Vendo style. If they did that machine would bring big coin. They don't so it won't.

Wow... $1,000.00 for that is pretty ambitious.  But the more I look at it the more I like it.  I like "different".

By the way - that machine is apparently in an Ace Hardware store if Google Maps is correct.
