Ok I misunderstood your problem. The mech should take quarters if it isn't it will need to be tuned. From the looks of it that mech was built without the ability to payout quarters I don't see the switch for it on the front.

I believe you need a computer program to tune a mars unlike the electronic coinco mechs where you put a jumper on then run 16 of each coin through it. I will see if I can verify this.

I do have 50 or so single price Coinco and Mars coin mechs that I will let go for $25 postage paid each. If you are interested email me.

Oh no, you didn't misunderstand my original question.  My thought was, if I could get it to accept quarters I would put it back in the Vendo.  I did notice a spot next to the smaller, lower dip switches where a jumper could be placed.  Do you have more info on programming?

Ok here are the instructions for tuning a TRC6200 and a few other Mars coin mechs. I got these from a guy I know that has his own vending machine coin mech/board repair company.  '<img'>

Mars 6200 Tuning for US coins only w/dollar coin acceptance
Power off machine
Place jumper on the 2 pins
Turn Power on
Remove jumper
Insert (Through top of coin mech)
2 nickels
then
2 dimes
then
2 quarters
then
2 Dollar coins
Hit Coin Return 1 time
Then insert (Through top of coin mech)
16 nickels
16 dimes
16 quarters
16 dollars

One thing be sure to use 16 different coins for each one so that you program a nice range of coins. Good Luck

Great.  I'll have to find something to use as a jumper and then I'll give it a try!

I found a PC board connector that I can make a jumper with.  One of the switches by the jumper is puzzling me.  It says "DATA GUARD".  What is switch for?
