I was wondering if anyone has.

Like a VMC-81 transitional Pepsi or 7up machine that is embossed.  Just thinking aloud again  biggrin

I'd believe there may be few, but keep in mind that the transitional style was the move away from embossed/dedicated flavor/brand machines of the 50's to the more modern illuminated marquee type machines that could be made for any brand of soda/beverage.

I've only seen the Barq's and 7UP as well. Brian (Seven181) had the 7UP - believe he got it out of Palm Springs.

        Coke had an embossed 56 squaretop but it wasn't transitional.

Ive owned 2 embossed 7up transitional 56 squaretops, Ive also seen 7up and Barqs in 81s.

Here is a transitional machine currently for sale on CL but don't know if it is embossed or not. Looks nice!



And heres a nice 7up machine currently for sale for $500. This one is embossed.
