I saw this on Craigslist. All the ad said was "Coke machine, works, make an offer." I'm not sure what the machine is and what would be a fair offer? It only has one pic.
                                            Thanks, Ken

The Westy BV-56 is an interesting machine but that one looks pretty rusty.  $100 tops and that is being generous!

Thanks for the ID. After attempting research and coming up with little in the way of info or parts I think I'll pass on this one. Not worth the 3 hour drive to get.
                 Thanks again, Ken

Keep this contact in case you find yourself in his area. He will be grateful to get $100.00 and that coin mech and handle will sell for that on e-bay.
As a working soda machine it has zero appeal but it can live another live if marketed in the right application.
I recently rescued one from going to recycle. Missing drum and coin mech but cooling system worked great. Advertised for $ 300.00 on Craigslist as a backyard refrigerator. Heck, the buyer even said I could have kept the compressor, as he only wanted it to use as a stage prop.

While on this topic, here is a request I got by e-mail :

Hello
Had kind of a funny question and I think you might be the source to ask. I am looking for an old coke machine shell or case? I don't want to put sodas in it or use as a refrigerator. I am hoping to use it as a case for an ATM machine. I have an old 40's style diner and we only accept cash. We are in Southern California and as you can imagine are one of only a few places left like ours out here. I need to add an ATM machine to keep me from having to starting taking the dreaded credit cards but I don't want some new looking ATM machine ruining the vibe of my old place.

I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions you may have or if you have anything I could purchase from you that would be great too. Thanks for your time and keep up the great work!!!!
