Ive got a quick question if i was to replace a cooling deck with the coil type evap with one with a square evep wouldnt it work as long as the hp rating was the same as the old and the evep lines will fit into the liner thru the same notch as the old one?

Yes, as long as everything fits so that the air flow is close to being the same to prevent freezing up.
