Post by: Pat Pixley on September 08, 2013, 08:55:02 pm
Just Finished  this little Westy up  it  was restored once before  we just added metal and made a new stainless steel tank this time.
Had to weld in new metal in a two inch hole and get a new lid  and a big thanks to Rod and Janet on getting me
the parts I need .

How did you fix the embossing after you welded the hole on the side?

Looks great Pat,

I've faced holes like that too and I just weld the hole closed and get the Dremel out to start reshaping the letters.. with Time and patience youd never know there was a hole..

Pat if you have another secret, I'd love to hear it..
