Ok, so I have done my homework and research. I have a WC 102 MD. The vend motor is broken, but it is just the electrical portion of it (thank goodness). It is a "C frame" motor that has a splined shaft. The motor winding and stator are dead, the armature does not look much better. I have found Electric C frame or "shaded pole motor" or "skeleton" motor models that look like they will work, but I have not found any Spined shaft types. Can someone who has some more knowledge on these C frame motors, help me find the new C frame motor that will fit on my gear motor mount? I can furnish measurements of where the mounting holes are, etc.

Hey Gang, I have a Westinghouse WB102-B4-D (it looks like a WC, not a WB!).
Would this use the same vending motor? If so, I might be able to help him out.

I believe it does - does your WB102-B4-D use a similar vend mechanism with gates - motor mount on the left with a linkage?
I am 95% sure it will work.

I think I might have something for you. Different manufacturer, but it looks the same. Since it is 115 volts, let me rig up something so that I can test it (it's been sitting for about 15 years outside unused).

its just a Harbor freight $15 job.

Thanks though. Its nice for "close" measurements, it isn't super accurate for machinist work.

Dr Galaga is my hero!
Not ONLY did he take the time to go and check out a "parts machine" for me, he found the motor I needed! And a very handsome price too! thank you for helping me stay within budget!
Check out the success video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNw04S5f-m0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Yep, that's Yeungling's lesser known "Lord Chesterfield" brew!

I was able to set the machine to vend 12 ounce bottles. Now I am having a custom decal made by a sign make friend of mine for the light box!

THANK YOU DR GALAGA!

Yep, that's a pushbutton "free vend" button since the coin mech is what killed the vend motor, it apparently just kept sending power to the vend motor and it burned up. Now it will only vend when you ask it to. I used some gorilla tape to locate the magic pushbutton under the coin return plunger! that way I did not have to drill the machine in any way!
Now, you hit the coin return plunger and Presto! a cold beer!

Thanks to DR GALAGA for saving my machine!

Glad to hear that it worked for you. I'll try watching the video again later. I have the hardest time watching YouTube videos on my computers.

I just got back from DC and I bought back some Yeungling's Black and Tan for my parents!

Hey, that parts machine didn't have a good selectomatic knob on it did it? Mine has a huge chunk
Missing out of it.
Thanks
