Well I was lucky enough to buy two VMC 81 bezels.  biggrin Both are rechromed and have the coin return knob. I paid a good price for the pair. I would be interested in parting with one if someone really needs one. These are getting very hard to come by. Just give me a call if you are interested in one.

I have one being replated as we speak for my vmc 81 pepsi that will soon be restored, and one that is original and needs to be replated.

I don't want to sell either of them, but as far as what they sell for, here's what I think.

One needing replating sold on ebay for $335 about 6-9 months ago, and I haven't seen another one for sale since.

I turned down $350 for mine from a fellow smc member (primarily because I didn't want to sell mine).

We speculated that they are now in the $400 range if you can find one.

Good luck Ron!

Always has been Jared, they have always sold well. I sold 3 of them 5 or so years ago quick! And they bought good money then.

I am also looking for one if anyone comes across one or wants to sell one. I have a vendo 81 bezel that I would let go of.

What happens in Vegas stays on Facebook!

Wow, 400 for the VMC bezel!  I never needed one so I never really looked at the prices they are getting.  Like I mentioned in a post last week, I paid 800 for a VMC 110 7up.  It has a vmc bezel, the large coin door etc... right there is the 800!

My wife doesn't understand this hobby (sometimes I don't either lol)... she always asks me why I'm getting another machine when I havnt done anything with the last one... I tell her because you don't know when a similar machine will pop up again, and ya gotta get it while the gettin's good.

I do wonder though.... with all these vmc bezels being sold over the years, what machines were they coming off of?

I bought that bezel on E bay... Paid a small fortune for it, but was missing on my generic 81.
