I had to replace the electrical cord because it was really bad, (I thought it would be easy) it was connected to this box, and of course the box cracked because its so old.  The rest of the wiring looks bad and I would like to redo it, but where can I get one of these boxes, I went to Home depot and nothing.  I attached some pics, Im not an electrical guy!  worse part now is, my machine is down until I fix this!  censored

I don't think any big box store will have the part, I just got done rebuilding one for my Vendo machine, and I'd recommend just buying the harness from Fun-Tronics.

You can buy a harness, but it won't be an exact match. All of the F-T or SJW harnesses will have extra leads for the interior fan and light, neither of which the Ideal machines have. The reason they don't carry one is because the wiring is just so simple - all you have is a T-stat and compressor lead.

No way to reuse that junction box? I probably have an extra if you want it.
