I have my new slug rejector installed (thanks Glen) and it is working just as it should. The dime is going in the coin block slot nearest the machine but then it rolls forward and does not actuate the release for the crank to turn. Nickels drop into the coin block slot nearest the crank but also don't operate the release for the crank. I believe this is probably due to the fact it had been working with quarters. I am including a couple of pictures, hopefully they are big enough to show you what I mean. If you can't explain to me how to fix it, I would like to send it to you if you are willing to do it. PM me with a price or if you want better quality pictures.
Thanks

Maybe the mech. is made to vend at 20 cents?  Try vending with 2 dimes. If it works, insert a dime wrapped in foil into the forwardmost position and make sure it is wedged in tight enough that it won't drop into the coin box every time.

You are missing the dime dog, which is why dimes won't work.
I can't see enough of the mech to determine what is going on with the nickel.
Are you inserting two nickels?
Is there anything wedged in the nickel coin slot taking up space?
I do have an extra nickel/dime 10c dog.

Thanks for taking the time to help me figure this out. I am definitely missing the dime dog I see the post where it would mount on. When I drop nickels in the first one drops in but the second does not have room (see picture). Also to get the dog to lift with a nickel it seems the dog would have to be adjusted back or lifted away (The quarter had the extra size to move it).

Thanks

There is a piece that you are missing on the mech that stops the nickel from falling too far and allows the second nickel to actuate the dog. Two screws hold it in place.

I am definitely interested in the extra dog you have. Or if you think you could get it working with dimes and nickels I would be interested in sending it out to you. Let me know what price I would be looking at either way.
Thanks
