I searched through past posts, but found nothing pertaining to this subject.

Without scratching the stainless front, what is the best way to fold the tabs back on bottle opener and coin return bezels that cannot be easily accessed from the rear?

I have always just used needle nosed pliers and put a cloth over the teeth and it stops it from scratching.

To remove the bezels I use my "hook tool". It's a handle with a hard steel 1/8" dia. rod through it with a 90 degree bend at the end. It's made for pulling dents but is really handy for getting into those hard to reach tabs.

I've always had good luck with a small set of channel locks and a rag so the bezel doesn't get scratched. The channel locks are at a good angle to pull the tabs toward the sheet metal to keep it nice and tight.

My six cents,

I use a small pair of channel locks with a rags folded about 4 x's for protection. This works really good for me.

I've got a pair of small needle nose pliers and I do the same thing as Josh   a cloth as not to scratch the
chrome.  And as far as removing it , I use dental like
 tools.

I have to agree with Jim and Terry, the small pair of channel locks, and a rag or piece of cardboard from a cereal box seems to work the best for me.
