If you use simple green, please rinse completely. A liitle does go along way.

A dish brush (found at Lowe's or Walmart) will help get into the vent fins.

Sticky, greasy film, any dish soap will work. Again a little goes a long way.

I found with my machine (vendo 63) removing the cooling unit helped
get into the nooks and crannies, and you wont get that part wet when you rinse with the hose.
Plus the added benifit of being able to check out the wiring.

Anyone else need to add to this. Please do....

You also have to promise not to throw those wooden crates on top of YOUR machine.  I'm suprised you weren't reprimanded earlier in this post.   '<img'>
