I need the support of everyone on this forum. As most of you know I collect Soda Dispensers, I do have one soda machine (a Westinghouse Master Electric). A few weeks ago I picked up Jeff Walters 3rd edition just to check out some of the machines. Well this past weekend I am sitting here looking at it and thinking that some of the smaller soda machines would make a great display stand for my dispensers. I mean wouldn’t my Dole Deluxe look great sitting on top of a VMC Dual 27 or VMC 33? How about the Pepsi Multiplex on a Pepsi VMC 3D-33? Then you have all of the little Cavaliers and Westinghouses they would be perfect. Then Creighton make a post about a VMC 33 that needs a little help and it’s only and hour from my house. Gee that’s just what I need. O.K. here is where you guys need to step in and slap me in the back of the head and say “Steve don’t you have 6 dispensers waiting for restoration? How about the 3 Ice Machines? Are you ever going to do anything with the Westinghouse?. So if you see me posting asking about a machine kindly answer it (as someone else may benefit) and then PM me with threats of bodily harm if I don’t stay focused on my dispensers! Then remind me that the dispenser looks just as nice sitting on a $50.00 end table as it dose on a $2K soda machine. Thank you,
Steve

I am fairly certain that displaying/mounting a dispenser on top of a machine falls easily within the jurisdiction of the "stuff on top of the machine" police...who regularly visit this this discussion board.

My advice would just be warned...the encouragement you get may not be what you are expecting.

P.S. Looks like a moderator (Jim?) liked my latestet smilies... they have been added to the collection.

Build a nice soda fountain counter front to run a long a wall or something...
That's what I'm going to do for my three dispensers... Add a few old napkin holder
and a few soda glasses..... much classier.... and it would look like they're in their natural
habitat..... Plus you won't have 'kito yelling at you for having stuff on top
of your soda machines.

Steve,
You want the 33? I'll stay out of the way if so. I'm only thinking $70 tops. Sure don't *need* another project. This one looks like fun though.

Thanks but I don’t need another project either. I really want to finish the dispenser I am working on now (have all the missing parts now) and then move on to the Polar Chips Ice Machine with the light up Coke dispenser.
