I have about a 90's coin mech in an older machine.  The mech worked fine last week.

This week coin lite is on but mech is full of coin.
Also won't accept coin of any denomination.

The machine should be about a early 80's later 70's from rockola. This machine is almost total brown.

I have changed the coin mech with another mech that was working in another machine.  Would not work in this machine.

Coin mech that was in that machine worked in another machine at my home with no problem.

I was wondering where to look for schematics for this age/style machine as well as any other suggestions.

Any links that may be of help,Anything at all.

I am off to power down the machine for a while and to vend out some selections from each colum to make sure the cylinders are primed and not jamed.

I would like to Thank Everbody for any contibution at all I am finding this to beyond me and no service tech's are available for more than a week.

is the sold out light(s) on too? sounds like it's thinking it's sold out and not accepting coins ( just in case the "sold-out" &
"correct change only" lamps got switched in there sockets! happened to me once. Also try ejecting all the "change" (nickels/dimes) from the change tubes using the eject switch near the bottom of the changer-mech, making sure theres no paper scraps in the bottom of the tubes screwing up the micro switch. give it a try '<img'>

I placed some calls and was advized to test vend all selections and to check for sold out lights too.

One of the vend gates had not completely reset itself. This then shuts down the entire machine from accepting coins and vending the other selections.

I had to force the pop out, messing up a few cans in the process.  I was then able to push up the second part of the mech/gate.  I did not know there was 2 stages.

I think a moisture buildup in the unit might had helped with this. I have cleared up the drain for moisture too and hope to not see this again.

Does anybody know a lubricant that can go on the gates that is safe for those parts and would not smell like wd-40.
This may help from this happening again?

I would like to Thank the one who replied and all who viewed for their time.

  Thank You from Darryl.
