Here is something I would guess you don't run across every day.  I found it here on Craigslist today.  They want $550 or reasonable offer, and it works.  It's about 5 feet long, a bit big for me to add to my collection, but it's neat to see something in Barq's.  I'd love to find one of their much smaller units!  Just goes to show you what is out there hiding away!

Anyone have any idea what it might be??

Looks like an S&S 3000 to me. Neat machine. If you have a pool it would make a nice cooler for the back porch.

Wow! Wish it was half that size.... nice embossed cooler...
Don't see that brand everyday... would be nice for a covered patio...
would need some serious elbo grease though... gonna keep an eye on it?

Eric ~
I may drop them a line and ask a few more questions about it.  If I get over that way and they still have it, I may stop in for a look at it as well.  I'm thinking the wife would strangle me if I got something that big.  Maybe if I get a pool out back, she would bite off on the patio cooler line.  I'm still trying to convince her to let me get the Atlas Junior ice DP embossed box I found, and it doesn't take up too much space!  Things will be much better when I retire from the military in a few years and don't have to worry about moving things around all over the place!

Greg,
Let me know if you can't swing it with the wife. I'd be interested in the DP Atlas if you could maybe help with shipping OR I might be able to coordinate a meeting or pickup between you and one of my brother's in Austin - (Fredricksburg or something). I'd want to see a few pics too if possible.

You'd still be keeping it in the family (so to speak)  biggrin

Tom ~

You will be first on my list if all efforts fail!  Being a DP nut, I'm hoping to convince her.  I may have to sacrifice my unrestored Westinghouse Standard as a trade.  I'm sure I could find another one of those down the road if I was so inclined.

Either way, I'll post pictures soon!  I know the family loves them!   biggrin
