I have a couple of non embossed/generic  Ideal 55 sliders that are complete that I can use the racks.

I am looking at a 7up Ideal 55 that does not have a rack.  Get's cold and the coin mech is present .

I would do a complete restoration and I have an extra rack.  What is the going rate for a 7up embossed with no rack?

Also, How about the same question for a Pepsi double dot embossed  Ideal 55 with no rack that works and has the coin mech?

I have had both Pepsi's and 7up's.

I usually sell the boxes seperatley on my local craigslist between $300-$350.  If they are the Ideal High Boy's with the chrome top coin mechanism's they sell for for $200.  The flapper's are around $35-$50.

Capcatcher are $75-$100.

I would say without the racks with everything else around $575-$650.  It would leave some room for someone if they wanted to buy a rack.  If they don't want a rack you may suggest removing the coin mechanism, flapper, and leaving the capcatcher.  Than you could lower the price a little.

I think price is the same whether you buying the 7up, or selling the Pepsi.

I agree with Jared's assessment, but I sell Ideal chrome top mechs all the time for $250 (not $200), and I can't keep them in stock.

I've owned both sliders as well, and Pepsi 55's are a tougher sell for me in my part of the country (Michigan).

I've been able able to sell 7-up sliders very quickly (both embossed and non-embossed), or at least faster than the Pepsi's.

Orange Crush 55's...well that's a different story! laugh  They sell themselves!

Does that include the flapper?  I never have flappers because lately mine have been cut, or missing with no rack!  laugh

No.

In my mind, I include the flapper with the rack, as they are both the same color, and both are under the lid used for dispencing.

I sell that pair for $250 also.

Collecting Ideal Sliders

I've purchased and sold quite few lately. The market is pretty much the same in the southwest.  I buy embossed 55 shells for $300-$400. More for really good ones. Generics are a little less. Racks and mechs. are pretty universally priced with the internet in play. 7UP and pepsi are at the weaker end of the scale here. Not as much demand.
