A little help here, can this be welded back and then chromed? or is this a lost cause?  or anyone even sell just this part?

Yes, a company does sell this part as I did buy one for my Ideal 55. I just don't remember which company I had bought it from.

Well I looked through my junk, I do have one but it is different than yours. Mine has 4 mounting holes as yours only has 2. Mine also looks bigger than yours.

      That coin return cup is from a Glasco slider coin mech.

I could not find this piece so a little glue and sandpaper and this is the finished project, you can still see the small cracks, but until I can find this piece, it will have to do.
