Title: Cavalier 33 coin mechanism/ slug Rejector
Post by: Gmari2 on March 24, 2013, 09:39:43 am
Hi everyone,
My lovely wife just acquired aCavalier 33 7-up machine that is lacking the coin mech and slug rejector.  While I await the manual from Funtronics, can anyone advise as to
1.  What brand and model rejector was used, and any advise on sources for the above.
Many thanks
George in jersey

You've got a great wife George!  :drinking:

If that is a picture of her C-33 in your aviator, is looks like it has a handle on it. If so, the handle connects to the coin mech and all you need is a slug rejector which is the same as your V-39 and VMC 33.

Thanks for the response Moondawg.   Yes she is terrific.  Instead of going out and spending money on spas, expensive clothes, ect.  She buys coin op machines.  I'm the schlug that has to go pick the stuff up.  700 miles for the phone booth as an example.  How far is it from Jersey to Chicago to pick up the Cavalier?
Valuable piece of information as at least now I know what rejector I'm looking for.
Let me know if you get a line on a really nice one.
Regards
George

Your around the 800+ miles to Chicago. I live on the PA border in Ohio with I-80 in my back yard and Chicago is 400 miles from me and Jersey is around 400 miles from me. If you went 700 for a phone booth whats another 100 for a soda machine?  Hope this helped.

The road trip is part of the adventure.  The trip to Chicago to pick up the c 33 will include the Chicagoland Coinop show.  Attended the Fall show and found the parking lot action quite remarkable.  We actually brought a Daval Trade Stimulator on the plane.  The security folks loved it.
If anyone can make that show its well worth it.
