I'd consider replacing all casters with rubber wheels.  Moving around is easier, and it won't destroy wood or tile floors.  Just my opinion.

Check Grainger http://www.grainger.com  They have a good selection of rubber casters of all different weight capacities.

no an iron caster will only "go-flat" from years of some yahoo dragging it across concrete because they were to lazy or stupid to notice that the axle had been seized with  piece of string or some corrosion, the majority of the machines I've seen with jammed/flat iron casters have had mop-yarn/strands wrapped around the axles.

Mighta had some hot lava flow by too, that would probably make the cast iron go flat.   glare

Found the axle nut too tight and it kept the wheel from turning.
Maybe I will do the grainger thing and get rubber ones...
