Title: Ideal 55 help

i think i just got an IDEAL 55, but cant find any numbers to verify it. it has an IDEAL tag on the front, but no numbers. on the coin mech side, there are 3 tag as follows:upper tag.....2G-51796, the tags underneath that one are the same..10962. its on old PEPSI slider.
id like info on the date,original paint code,and anything else that will help in the resto of it(links).

thanks. whats the deal with the "dual/single dot" pepsi-cola logo? i didnt know about them untill after i wrapped it up for storage. also,,,,,any idea where i can find a coin mechanism and bottle cap catcher for it?

The "Double-dot" ( looks like "Pepsi:Cola") is the earlier Logo from the 40's, the "Single-dot" (Pepsi.Cola) is the later style of Logo from the 50's.   It's used to help identify the age of a Pepsi machine or picnic cooler.
