The lid on my slider was attached to the hinges by what I assume is some type of rivet.  Does anyone know what these are called and if I can find them somewhere?  The rivet head on the top side is about 3/8" and the rivet head on the bottom side is about 1/4". There's about 1/8" between the heads of the rivets.  Below are a few pictures and a drawing of the rivet.

Here is a set from SJW.

It looks like they only have 1 of the 2 pieces you would need to set the rivet??

I have been looking for them as well..let me know what you do. I just had a slider lid resurfaced, but still need to put the hinges back on.

Not the size you are needing, but I have been wanting to get one of these for some soda and pinball stuff.

I also meant to ask, how were original DP porcelain signs attached to machines?  I've seen truss head slotted screws (1st picture), pop rivets (2nd picture) and truss head tubular rivets (like on the lid hinges pictured above).  What's the preferred method for restorers?

Don't know if this will help. It's pics of the rivets on my new lid. They are the hollow rollover version compared to the solid hammered originals.

I think those look great Ken. Did you install them yourself?

No, they came already installed on the lid. I got it from Funtronics maybe Rod can help you out finding the right ones.
