Picked up this stamp machine at my local flea market yesterday. Nothing exceptional, but I found some paperwork inside of it. Seems the previous owner kept track of their route collections from July '74 - December '75. Thought it was interesting to find that inside after 40 years.

First time I ever found anything like that in a coin op which has prompted me to ask "what's the coolest or strangest thing you have found in a coin op"?

Typical stuff....

Mouse droppings... found a not rare buffalo nickel once....  I think it was my 56 that I found Coke caps with football players of the 60's, Mike Didka (sp) was one, and a few other notable players....

If I buy one more machine, my wife says that I'll find divorce papers in the next machine..... she told me after my 3rd machine that I'm not allowed any more..... I think I bought over 30 since then lol...... with a few more to come.

Love stuff like that... You should frame /display those next to the machine.
I've found old Mercury dimes in a couple machines and cork lined bottle caps.
I found a wiring diagram in a old Western electric 302 phone probably from
the installer. Old 7up matchbook and a wax tin with the cloths in it inside my
1950 Studebaker's backseat arm rest compartments.
But my best handwritten piece I  have is from a widow that I bought a 1940 Coke uniform from.
2 pages - She wrote down his name, how they met during WWII, got married, when he started
with Coke, etc. She then had a print made of him in his uniform standing by the delivery truck... John Dudley.
We staid in contact with her till she got sick and passed... Love that type of stuff.. the stories.

Thanks for sharing your finds. Think I will frame them. Can only imagine why there was a bayonet in the machine
