I just talked with a Guy locally who has 2 Machines that he called 33's.. he could not tell me if they where Vendorlater or Cavalier, only that they where 33's. I'm going to see them tomorrow afternoon. Not sure one condition but neve have owned one of these before... I think the Cav 33's are more valuable from reading posts? got any idea of realistic prices for ones that will need restoring but are complete?

thanks

I would say the VMC33 can be had for $300-$500.
The VMC33 was produced with the split doors like the VMC27 and VMC27A.
It was also produced as the VMC33-3D, single door like the VMC72.
I like the 3D style better and would place a slightly higher value on it.
The Cav33 is much more valuable than the VMC33.
I do not see a lot of them for sale. I have seen some sell for as little as $600 and others $1500+.
An embossed machine is rarer than the unembossed model.
I think Coca Cola was the only one Cavalier embossed it for.
If not complete, parts can be difficult to find unlike the VMC33.
Both machines only vend the small bottles.
I like my Cav33 a lot and it is one of my favorite machines.
I want a VMC33-3D as a DP. I have all the parts - just need a body, liner, compressor and main door.

I had a split door original VMC 33 and wish I would have never sold it.....  If it goes for under $600 it would be a good buy in my neck of the woods - of course that all depends on condition....

I agree - they can go for more, but Signguy indicated condition was "complete, but needing restoration".

I am reall anxious to get over there tomorrow as the guy as he kept talking was telling me about more stuff he had... I don't think this will be a Johnnie G discovery... but maybe a mini one as he said he has a storage unit with more stuff like gas pumps, jukes and pinballs..... so this should be fun...
YES I'll bring the camera!!!
Thanks
