36"
Porcelain.  The shadowy spots are on the sign, not just in the photos.
What would you expect to pay? Thanks.

Why buy something with the shadowy spots on it. I would pass.

But, hard to say, my guess is $200.00. If it were perfect I would expect to pay twice that. But that is just one man's opinion. Let's see what the others have to say.

I was thinking $200. All I know is the seller says the spots are from "original wear from how it reacted to the elements". The seller is at $450, which I wouldn't pay.

I agree I wouldn't go over $200, $450 would be more for near mint

it's definately not a 450 sign... if it where near mint, porcelain then yes would be a great deal at 450.00 but it's not.

Signs have dropped in value.. I still love them but dropped..

there was a day where a mint 24 painted tin would bring 750.00 all day at auction/ebay etc... that same sign today lucky to get 450.00 for it.. Sad as I have a few in my collection.. hope it rebounds...

Dan,

Did you catch the one that was on craigslist late last week?  Woman in Reston had one that was in her parents house, 36" sign...she said it was in great shape, one small rust spot, and she didn't want to throw it out...$75, I missed it.

Nope. Don't know how I missed that one. I check it fairly often and usually don't see much. Usually a bunch of new fantasy stuff.
