Title: 7up 110
Post by: BONOVOX on February 16, 2015, 08:27:12 pm
Thanks to Joey.....

This original 110 is at it's final resting place  :happydrinkers: (at least in my lifetime lol)

I gave it a good cleaning and buffing today, and it came out really nice.  I'm sure I could get it even better but I'm too tired (getting old)

With this one now in my collection, I will be selling my other original 7up 110 that is in need of a restoration.
If anyone here is interested in it, let me know, as I will be selling it locally on CL in the springtime.

Ed,
looks great...
Question,, how much beer do you have to provide to your buddies to keep coming over and help you move these machines into your basement...

I'm sure they just KRINGE when they see you calling... ?  :happydrinkers:

 I actually have 3 nephews between the ages of 22 and 25 that are stronger than bulls on steroids
They live 10 minutes away from me, and even though they sigh and roll their eyes when I ask for help... I always remind them that I wiped their as-ses when they were babies when I babysat them

Nephews are better than friends..... they come, they move it, they leave... friends drink 10 beers before the move.... and then 10 after the move along with pizza....  and one always falls asleep on the couch.

In my next life.... I am ONLY buying a house with a walkout basement!

I'm glad that it arrived Ok, Hopefully the crate was up to your expectations. I miss that machine already but glad to see that it went to a good home, This is possibly the nicest original 7up 110 out there.

Thanks all... but Joey did all the work finding it, crating it and shipping it... I just worked to make $$ to buy it lol....

Joey crated it so well, that I've sent the blueprints to the Smithsonian so they can copy it and crate their items just like it!

And yes, the decals on the side are original too.

just need to get a main door lock now.

Great machine and glad it is safely tucked into it's new home. Congrats.
I'm pondering basement stairs that fold back. With a shortend car lift affair underneath. Really want my Seeburg juke, Midway coin "Speedway" electro-mechinical arcade and a couple of heavy ass Selectovend machines downstairs. Short on nephews to help :-).
