Great Birthday piece for you Seth.  The machines are addictive just like the signs that I collect and now that I have seen this Glasscock cooler I feel like I may need one in the future as well!  Can't wait to see the photos.  How long does it take to restore a cooler like that?

I have only seen a few of these coolers through the years. Can't wait to see it restored!

Thanks guys. I'm not sure exactly how long it will take but I would assume with all the jobs they have going I would think at least 6-8 months. It's much bigger then my countertop cooler and that took them about 4 months. I have so many things with them getting restored they will probably shoot me if I drop this off also. I may wait till I get one back to drop this off. I'm looking forward to it though.

I thought you would be sending the base to the powdercoater, then only the signs and the lids to the painter?

My counter top looks good painted so I think I will go the same route. I know the powder coating is durable but question which would look better.

The guy was from Big Island. Not sure if that's the town he got it from though. Sounded like it was a close by pick.
