After posting “ ‘The’ Guide to Identify Vendo’s Coca-Cola, Chest-Type, Units 1938 – 1959”, viewable at https://sites.google.com/site/vendotoolbox/, it became obvious that a sister site was necessary for Westinghouse and Cavalier chest-type coolers designed by Coca-Cola.
The new site is titled “ ‘The’ Guide to Identify Coca-Cola designed, Chest-Type, Coolers, 1934 – 1959”.
It’s viewable at https://sites.google.com/site/idcocacolachestmachines193459/.

It’s not that hard and it can be rewarding.
Have a good one.

That is a lot of information packaged into an easy to read format. Good job Ted!
Seems a lot of people who don't bookmark it, will lose sight of it once this thread dies. Could these sites be pinned somewhere on SMC?
In the 20 years I have been restoring machines, these chests still keep surfacing while all our 50's machines are becoming real scarce.
When I think about all the time I spend with people, trying to help them ID their cooler, heck I could just send them over to SMC.com.
and tell them to get back to me when they know what model they have.  happydrinkers
The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have another column for lid sizes, next to the cap catchers for each model.

Thanks guys for your comments. I like MoonDawg’s suggestion of pinning this type of educational site in SMC. Postings seem to die rather quickly, which makes it harder to service future newbies.
I don’t mind adding a column for lid sizes but their dimensions are not published. Back in Dec. I did have a lid column in the chart showing qty and part numbers. I couldn’t see that helping anyone tho. Any more thoughts about it ?

MoonDawg had suggested that lid sizes be included. I’ve dealt with it and added an explanation of sizes for pre-war coolers to ‘Page 02 – Preamble’. It might be confusing.
