I have a friend who is selling a really nice Pepsi VMC 88. It was restored nine years ago and it looks great. The refrigeration works like new. But it is missing the coin mech and associated linkage. I can't figure out what is required.  Can someone out there show me a photo of both sides of the cabinet door to their VMC 88 so I can figure it all out? And how hard do you think it will be to find the parts needed to make this a fully functioning machine? I have so many projects now that I don't want to buy it unless it is an quick and easy fix. As well as inexpensive.

Thanks

Don't have pics for you, but the 88 uses a large door mech and they are not cheap or that easy to find. Not sure about the shaft length of one either - could be the same as a VMC-44 which would be even more difficult to find than an LD 81 mech.

Well, I guess I will pass on this machine. And I was so looking forward to getting it. But as I said, I have plenty of projects on the fire and I do not need any more.

Thank you
