No problem . I will just try a few shoulder bolts and see what works . With the shoulder bolt it can't go in further than where the thread stop .

Here's what my setup looks like...
It's an 8-32 x 3/4" but has a small roller collar sleeve as pictured, but I'm sure something easy can be found to function...

My six cents,

A shoulder screw will work if I can find one.
Is your screw fully threaded with the collar ?

Tried a few screws and a flange bearing but can't get the right length of screw or flange . I did get the pump freed up .  smile

looks like you could use a bronze bushing plus a nut and a screw.  I've seen small flanged bronze bushings at Home Depot in the hardware drawers.

Ok got everything adjusted and working . Now I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the dep of the oil basket . I feel like the popcorn is being cooked in to much oil making the popcorn a little greasy . The manual shows where the screws are but not how to properly adjust them or how . It says the corn should be cooked in a 1/8'' of oil .

The adjusting nuts are located on either side of the Oil Cup. From the factory they are brass knurled nuts and can be loosened to lower the Oil Cup thereby changing the depth of oil in the Cooking Basket.

Ok . So it is the oil cup that the heater is submerged in. Do you know about how low to drop it ? Right now it's flush (tight as it will go )

Thanks

Its a matter of trial and error... I've restored a few of these and each one had different sized or shaped oil cups..
I'd think that flat flush up against the top is too far.. so try lowering it 1/8 inch or more and try again...

it's all a matter of trial and error to get it where you like it..
