Title: Pepsi 81 - Looking to trade down Post by: ld26 on January 27, 2017, 08:14:35 pm I have a very nice restored pepsi 81 that i'm looking to swap for an original with "character" +some signs or something. Looking for something with patina that is displayable, orig decals, that kind of stuff. Doesn't have to be in working condition, just looking real cool.
My machine was 100% complete when i bought it. I took it all apart, blasted and paint and put it back together. New liner, wiring harness, fan motors and blades, breaker strips, more from funtronics. I left the tub and shelving orig, just cleaned with simple green. Mech is orig and working perfectly. Sanded and spray painted the compressor. I just fired it up and it gets nice and cold. Orig lock and key. So not a 10k machine but very nice. PM if interested in a swap. I'd be looking for the unrestored machine and some signs, soda or gas.
