Title: A load for the Recyclers
Post by: johnieG on September 22, 2010, 05:47:41 pm
Well I did some late "Spring" cleaning & took this load of Vendo V63's, a few Cavalier C64's & a Westinghouse MD60 carcasses over to the recyclers, hated to do it. but I ran out of room & I'm downsizing my storage unit budget...They are over at Royal Oak Recycling, in White-lake Mi. 48327 if anybody local is looking to be-a pickin' before they're carted off to the smelter about Friday ( so says the Gal who hands out the Cash!)

I think they are going to put them on E-Bay because after all, I've seen them go for $5 or $6,000!

Coulda-woulda-shouda... :upside: ( I have no time to part them out further) The bezel is pretty dented up anyway if you look closely, but give them a call & have them pull them for you??? they are just sitting in the yard at this point..

other than that tomorrow I have to pull out my sliders & relocated them to my new smaller storage unit, a Hires Ideal55 , a Royal Crown Ideal55 & a Faygo Ideal55, my Westy' WD10 dry-chest & a pair of Westy' MD-60 select-a-matics. & parts. lots & lots of parts!  fun fun fun

Sweet....the more that go to the smelter the more rare mine becomes.  I am thinking $6K is low in the ballpark anymore.
