Title: CSS-142[E]
Post by: Pixel on February 24, 2014, 02:40:29 pm
A local seller of told a tale to get me to come look at a Coke machine. When I got there the machine was as best I could tell an early 60's CSS-142E. It had been painted an awful blue color, and had rusted a bit. I'm not really in the market for one, but now that I've seen it I'm curious. Will any of the shelves fit another Cavalier? I know they won't fit the more common 64's and 96's- it's a considerably wider machine.

Also, how did Cavalier arrive that odd capacity? It's a 12 selection machine, I would've thought 144? I didn't look it over all that well, but wouldn't one shelf be shorter, like holding 10 bottles instead of 12?

Are these larger early machines less desirable due to their weight and size?
